Having raced after a ten hour shift and biking 11 miles to get there I was in a tired but ready state. Hoping to place high I got third in my heat for the simple mistake of starting out too strong. It was fun racing with my friends, Its always a climb when it comes to winning or losing. Racing is for the thrill of testing your strength and mental, adapt to any situation and never give up.
These guys really know how to celebrate especially on 4/20 had a great time hanging out with Alino(far right), Frankie(right), and Angel(left). A few sprints through sunset and riding with Alino back to the valley. Seeing him mash through a barrage of cars was pretty epic. Never seen someone gain so much strength from the adrenaline of being near traffic. To say the least the night was pretty chill with awesome people.
