Bullhorns where the first type of handle bars I used when I started cycling. Now that I’m more experienced in the art of riding I’ve been looking for comfort to enhance my ever growing performance. The design of the Deda bars are for a time trial type of position. Being aero and staying in one fixed position are what these bars promote.
Sprinting was a blast when the opportunity presented itself but for some reason I felt like I was always sprinting. Not saying thats bad but since I was on a fixed position sprinting felt like the most comfortable thing to do. Having used these bars for a few weeks I saw a difference in my form when I swapped back to my drop bars. As a fan of the bullhorns I enjoyed these bars and anyone who’s comfortable with them will too.
